TERMS AND CONDITIONS

COOKING AT VILLA organizes culinary classes and wine tours in Italy. Prices are as represented in the price list provided and are subjected to change with notice. However, once a tour has been confirmed and a deposit received, the parties shall be bound to the price agreed. All arrangements are made subject to terms and conditions and the signature on the booking form of the client or authorized representative signifies acceptance of an agreement to be bound by these conditions

PAYMENTS: A deposit of 30% per person is payable on booking and confirmation will not be effected until the whole of the deposit is received.

The balance must be paid 21 days (three weeks) prior to the date of the event. Non payment of the balance within this period will constitute basis for cancellation of the booking and of the retaining of the deposit/s.

CLIENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS: It is the responsibility of agents to ensure that clients are familiar with the standard terms and conditions contained below. Cooking At the Villa will not enter into correspondence or accept liability in any way for failure by the agent to communicate terms and conditions to clients or in the event that clients breach the terms and conditions contained herein.

CANCELLATION: Cancellation is effected by the Agent or the Client when written notification is received by Cooking At The Villa or in the event of non payment of balances, when written confirmation of non intention to proceed is received.

Should the Agent or the Client for whatever reason cancel the booking, they will have the right to reimbursement of all money paid subject to the deduction of cancellation charges.

Cancellation penalties are applied as follows:

  • Between 29 and 15 days prior to the event 30% of the price (deposit only)

  • 14 days to a week prior to the event 80 % of the price

  • one week (7 days) prior to the event 100% total amount

Changes to tour dates, of 30 days prior to the date of the event will constitute a cancellation of the booking and a new confirmation will be required. In bona fide, Cooking At the Villa will attempt to mitigate all losses from cancellations, and will at its sole discretion retain the right to reduce cancellation charges as it sees fit on a case by case basis. Clients are advised to take out adequate insurance to ensure that they are protected from unforeseen events which may give rise to cancellations.

INSURANCE: Although not a prerequisite for booking, it is strongly suggested that clients are covered by adequate travel insurance prior to booking, to protect against unforeseen events and inconveniences.
