Thank you so much for a wonderful day!  The food was fantastic and the company equally as good.  The kids had a great day and are so excited to have a dinner party when we return home to show off their new culinary talents.  We hope we can return one day in the future to try out some other dishes.

We had an amazing afternoon cooking with Luisa.  We wanted an activity that we could all do and we weren't disappointed.  Pasta making was fun and everyone enjoyed stuffing the zuccini flowers.  Luisa made us feel extremely welcome and we all sat and ate outside in the lovely courtyard to enjoy the results of our hard work.

Buon giorno, Luisa!  My son Frank and I spent our morning making a giant batch of your zucchini flowers.
He chose to bring them into work for International Day so your delicious recipe will be enjoyed by a Federal Court Judge and his clerks and interns at lunch today.  Frank was so proud to have something so special to represent his heritage to his friends.

Thanks so much for the wonderful time at your B&B. The cooking was fun, the food was wonderful, and everything was perfect. We felt right at home with Luisa and would recommend this experience to anyone interested in cooking and having a good time. We made delicious pasta, scrumptious sauces, fantastic veggies and an out of this world strawberry tiramisu. The vineyard tour and wine tasting was great fun as was the trip to a small, picturesque mountain town. We hope the next time Luisa is in the States, she will have a cooking class here too.

I have been wanting to write and thank you for the wonderful cooking class that my family did with you on January 3, 2013.  We loved every minute of it learning to cook the delicious cheese flan, mushroom risotto and the outstanding ricotta and goat cheese ravioli.  Now that we are home in Australia I cant wait for my boys to cook me a special Italian dinner.  I look forward to them making a mess in the kitchen with flour to produce such beautiful and delicious home made ravioli and pasta.

Our evening cooking with you was really was a highlight of our Italian vacation!  We left your home very happy and so full that we could not eat another thing.

We are back home in Oregon & the girls and I were anxious to try our hand at pasta making! We made some spaghetti noodles for our neighborhood dinner tonight. Thanks again for the fun cooking experience.

Thank you so very much for my wonderful cooking experience yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the day, learned so much from you and enjoyed your company. My Italian cookery class with you is something I will remember and talk about for a long time.  Last night everyone was so interested to hear about my pasta adventure and David can’t wait to come for a lesson!

I hope you are well. This is just to say thank you very  much for having a lesson last friday. I enjoyed very much there and had wonderful time in Verona. All my friends who saw the pictures of the lesson are really interested in attending it! This is Brady Johnson, my grandfather and I were at your place in Verona taking a cooking class with you a few weeks ago. I am sorry that I have not emailed you sooner, I have been quite busy. I really wanted to thank you for such a great experience! I never in my lifetime thought I would actually hand make ravioli!

Funny story: If you remember, I took the leftover ravioli that we had made, and I brought it back to the apartment that my parents and boyfriend and I were staying in. This was on a Saturday. The next day, Sunday, My step dad had planned to go out early in the morning to the closest bakery to pick up breakfast before we all went to Lake Garda. Little did we know that Sundays are basically holidays over there! Everything was closed, not even a little grosser store was open! We all did not know what to do and didn’t even know if the buses would be running! Everyone was getting quite hungry, so I saved the morning by whipping up those leftover raviolis!

Now that I know how to make the ravioli, I was wondering if it would be too much trouble for you to Email me the Pumpkin Ravioli recipe? I would love and appreciate that a lot.

We had a wonderful time and I will never forget it. It was such a nice intimate place to be too, that was nice because My grandfather and I don’t always have that special quiet time with each other. So thank you very much! I hope if you are ever on the east coast of the states you will come to stay at our bnb.

We are still talking about our trip to Italy and how much fun we had. We all agree that cooking with you was the most fun! I have a question for you regarding pizza. What is the trick to get thin crust? We’ve made the dough ourselves and we’ve bought it but it comes out thick everytime. Any idea what we’re doing wrong?

Hayley and I would like to thank you for a wonderful weekend, the wine tasting, the trip to the villiage and the cooking lesson was amazing. Hi Luisa!  We’re back in the states but our hearts are still with you in your kitchen. I wanted to explain about not seeing you at Masi, per our last phone conversation. Thanks so much for arranging our tasting at Serego Aligheri - it was very nice

although the girl who conducted it was a bit curt. I tried calling to book the tasting at Masi, but had no luck getting through, for some reason. As it turned out, we were not able to get there in the morning anyway, but sorry we didn’t

get to see you.

I’d like to post something on your guestbook, along with some pictures, but I’m not sure exactly how to go about it.  Shall I just send another email, with the photos attached?

Mike & Tracey have sent us pictures of their asparagus-filled ravioli, which they made in Florida after they got back.  We just got a pasta machine for here in Arizona, with which we made squash-filled ravioli, and fettucini.  I’ll make the stuffed zucchini blossoms for a party here on Sunday, and then we will go to Colorado for the summer.  So you see we are using your lessons and recipes well!

Hope all is going well for you there — Thanks again for everything!  I’m going to search for you on Facebook — please “Friend” me — we have a lot of fun on there, and a lot of my pictures are there now.

You probably don’t know how much we still talk about our experience at your home. Just to refresh your memory, I came with my two older daughters about 4 years ago. We still can’t believe that you were waiting for us at the bus stop in your town. You were just the right combination of fun and seriousness. The “icing on the cake” was your kind offer to drive us back into Verona that evening.

Thanks again for the wonderful memories, delicious dishes, and for sharing your home and passion for cooking with us.  We had a tremendous time!  I don’t think you forgot anything, and I can’t wait to start making my own pasta.  I’m already bidding on a Mercato pasta machine on Ebay!  Hopefully I’ll win it and will be making pasta within the week.

Also, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying that fennel and liquorish tea you gave me, it’s so delicious! Thanks again for that!

We should stay in touch!  Take care and please pass a hi to Mirko (sp?) for me!  The Amarone wine arrived safely in my luggage.  I’ve put it in my wine cellar and will be saving it for a very special occasion!

I hope you like the pictures (especially the ones with you using the toaster-maybe someday you could work at my JUST TOAST restaurant!).  We all had a GREAT time and you were fantastic.  I think I even learned how to make something besides toast.  If you are ever in Philadelphia, please let us know and we’ll cook (I mean Mary Jane will cook) for you.  Please keep in touch.
