Culinary Tour Of Verona

A full immersion into the culture and atmosphere of Verona including
accommodation in 4-star hotels in the pedestrian area of Verona,
cooking classes at a nearby facility with a professional chef, wine stopover and wine
tasting, go to see the pressing of olives to make extra virgin olive
oil (only in the fall tours), guided tour of the city, one day tour to
Parma to witness the making of Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto and

to Ferrari Spumante cellars in Trento

Ferrari
makes one of the best "Italian
champagne", which we can
only call spumante. The group is guided through the cellars and
phases of making this pleasant and worldwide famous sparkling wine.

On the way back to Verona stop in
Riva del Garda for a visit to the greatest lake in
Italy. Pause at a wine and grappa store to taste Italian Grappa.

Learn the making of risotto, pumpkin
ravioli,
"polenta con il baccalà",
"sbrisolona" and more specialties of the
Venetian region by
Luisa's fireplace. She shares her
cooking skills in her country side home near Verona and creates a
convivial ambiance. Cooking classes focus on the best
representative dishes of the area (home-made pasta is a must), or on whatever pleases you. The class includes the
preparation of an antipasto, a pasta dish, a main course and a dessert.
Then sit down convivially for savoring and commenting the
marvelous food prepared. A selection of wines of the area matching the
dishes can be selected.

in the area of Valpolicella and Soave. Explore the cellars, courts
and villas where world known wines like
