Cooking At The Villa was
established by M. Luisa Zecchinato in 1997 on the shores of New England. Long
summer days of introducing summering visitors to the Venetian Style of
cooking soon created a demand for culinary tours to the Veneto Region. The
philosophy was and still is to marry cuisine, great wines and culture With over ten years experience, Luisa Zecchinato
continues to share her love of the best in Italian Cuisine . Cooking At The Villa develops its program in the historic town of
Verona. Among other historical events Verona was the setting for
Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Thanks to a dazzling staff all native of Verona you will experience a
satisfactory culinary journey.

Luisa Zecchinato was born in Verona, Italy where she grew in a blissful
family of three brothers, lovely parents and compelled relatives.
Among things that she does when she is in Verona (besides helping her
father making wine when in season) is meeting with chefs for new recipe s
and tips. . Her interest could not avoid passion for Italian wines
particularly the many ones produced in the surrounded hills of Verona.
Her
tours convey the ambience, joy and togetherness that you find in an Italian
table: she is a brilliant organizer and she knows the area so well being born
right in Verona. Appreciating
so much her region, the variety of the landscape (mountains and lake), the
enormous amount of history, art and vestige, she creates culinary and
wine tours to promote this beautiful region, its food and wines
Luisa Zecchinato teaches
Northern Italian Cuisine at The Cambridge Centre for Adult Education in
Cambridge, MA and Learning Connection in Providence, RI.
Associated chef Leena Cagnoni is the executive chef of the editorial group Hobby & Food that count many magazines specialized in Italian and International cuisine. She has graduated at the Culinary Institute of Milan, and her work experience includes an important collaboration with chef Sadler at his one Michelin star restaurant in Milan. During the time she worked there she trained for creating pasta dishes (called primi in Italian), main dishes, antipasti and fish. She has a lively and enthusiastic personality, willing to share her experience and skills with others. She is will introduce the group to the preparation an presentation of Italian Antipasti, Pasta, Risotti, Meat dishes and Desserts
